Overview
A routine re-roofing project at a multi-unit apartment building revealed loose-fill asbestos insulation in the roof void, which was unknowingly disturbed. Improper surveying prior to the work caused friable asbestos to spread across the entire 1100m² site, contaminating every surface. After a failed remediation attempt by another contractor, AES was engaged to manage the complex situation and restore the property.
